Part of the reason is because you need gear with higher mobility. I think the further you get in the game, the better the gear, the better the resilience, mobility and recovery will be. Can't see that through the beta. But I bet that's what it is.

Warlock has standard 8 or 9 mobility and still feels sluggish af

Yeah, I wouldn't say that complaints are unfounded, there's some changes (jumps in general don't have the reach they used to). But I'd suggest anyone finding themselves too slow to go into their armor and check what its affecting. In the Beta pieces I've seen there's both a selection perk that toggles between two options, and a locked-in perk that boosts one stat and reduces another. Titans particularly get an initial set that has Heavy modifier that boosts resilience but lowers mobility., and can't be toggled for mobility on its selectable perk either. If you pick up the mobile sets, their movement improves drastically. Also most of the jump perks in the build seem to be adjusted. If someone goes in (like I did), and goes for the old standby sets, they're missing out on some varied movement options.

If that's their design plan, then it's even worse. Having to gear to remedy a deficiency in the game is terrible - it's why every Hunter has to use Bones of Aeo to fix their jump and make it usable for platforming in strikes/raids.

And bones of eao were RNG loot... Perfect. I remember the early days of KF ship jumping when my hunter just couldn't do thay 3rd last ship bcz I didn't have bones of eao. Missed that calcified frag back then.
