Codes are live for xbox 1 also. In the Destiny app go to profile, then click on the codes tab. It should now allow you to choose platform and give you a real code. Once you get the code, go to the store on xbox one and redeem the code. Download for beta will be in your ready to install folder in "my games and apps".

Never mind I just did it on my phone

I couldn't do it on my phone for some reason. Either on the app or safari. So I just booted up my console and did it under Microsoft Edge app

I did it on the website, the app didnt have the option.
