IMO PvE players got exactly what they wanted, just not the outcome they expected to get. For a long time PvE players have been on the forums essentially trying to force Bungie to pick between PvE and PvP, in regards to what direction to take the series into. These players expected Bungie to side with PvE but Bungie instead appears to be set on supporting the Crucible going forward.

I don't agree with that. I can't recall any post asking for that. What I do recall are many posts by PvE players asking for Bungie to [i]prioritize PvE[/i] over PvP, or [i]separate [/i]the two so they can stop hindering each other.

I agree with you. I really want bungie to side with PvE. But they really want to go MLG big time so they can get some kind of e-sportsy recognition. I just hope PvE isn't going to be second because really it might just be destiny 1 with a sprinkle of sugar to sprouse it up.
