https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.unintuitive.IshtarCommander&hl=en Ishtar Commander is a third party app that allows you to access your in game gear between all of your characters and your vault. It's not a bug or known issue, but it does sound like someone has signed into the app using your account details. As far as I know, the app itself doesn't allow you to delete gear; so worst case scenario, they might troll you by switching your loadout or putting equipped items in your vault. The downside is that they had both your account name and password to sign in. You might want to check with any close friends if they did this by accident or as a prank, and failing that change your password asap.

Thanks again for the piece of mind. Oh yeah, and I did have a close friend log in for me so that tracks.

Ishtar commander is a third-party gear manager application. If you do not have Ishtar commander, someone must have logged in with your credentials to authorize it. It may be wise for you to change your Sony or Microsoft password in order to secure your account. https://www.bungie.net/7_How-can-I-keep-my-account-safe/en/Help/Article/12718
