Got the Vienna singer ship
So yeah was doing the black spindle mission with two guys and at the end one guy got the spindle while I go the Vienna singer and I gotta agree it does look sweet

Got the ship at the same time I got spindle on my first attempt. It is a nice looking ship, but not my favorite.

I grinded that mission so many times when 310 was max light just to get that ship. Probably one of my favorite loot drops I've received in this game. Congrats! Only ship i think i would replace it with is the Nanophoenix but RNG is the bane of my existence.

Asked a friend to help me farm the mission for this ship. He got it on the first run. I still don't have it. (Only ran it a few times, but seems to be my luck...)

i got it when the black spindle was first available, i ran the mission many times with my old clan and never seen another drop!

3 RepliesThe same thing happened to me about 6 months ago when I helped a friend get the Black Spindle. I am still missing Lost Legacy and Longest Vigil from TTK. I wish that I knew how to get them.

I remember soloing that quest just so I could get Black Spindle. It took hours to get right, including one heartbreaking wipe in which I landed the final blow on the boss a split second after time ran out. When I finally succeeded, I got the Vienna Singer, first try, the week before Bungie patched it to increase its drop rate, without even knowing it was a possible reward. I feel dirty.
