Continue to access current Destiny after Destiny 2 Beta released?

So when the Destiny 2 Beta comes out, will we be able to access it as a separate game or will it replace the current version of Destiny?

Hello slipSTREAM68. Destiny 2 is an entirely separate game. It will not overwrite the Destiny 1 experience. Destiny 1 will continue to function after the Destiny 2 Beta is released and after Destiny 2 is released. Many activities in Destiny 1 will continue to be available (for example: Raid Challenges and Nightfalls). However, some activities will be ending after August 2017 and will not return. The activities that will not return are Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris, and Live Events. More information on these activities (along with end dates) can be found here: Legacy Support for Destiny Activities and Events The full Legacy Support guide for Destiny 1 can be found here: Legacy Support Guide for Destiny

    • It is a separate game!Destiny will not have anything being updated into it anymore and will most likely be dead after a few months! Safe travels guardian
