The reason why Bungie doesn't hammer down (no pun intended) on cheaters is because they don't want to lose anyone in their player base and lose money. Additionally, they take down threads reporting cheaters because they don't want any newcomers to think "Wow, there must be a lot of cheaters in Destiny" (which is actually true), but it ultimately backfires in their face. If Bungie doesn't step it up big time on their cheating regulation, they're going to get trampled, [i]especially[/i] on PC.
