Bungie bans & restricts people all the time. They just don't make a big deal out of it.

Than how was I DDoSed buy the same person TWICE he kicked us in a trials map and we all reported him along with others. Few weeks later same thing happened buy the same guy.

no every year they ban a thousand out of millions for three weeks and that's it. no ID so you can play then again. they don't want to lose ANY players [i]no matter what[/i] when was the last time they mentioned any bans vs the most recent cheating posts in the forums how many ppl are working investigations? maybe three if we lucky. I'm sure Eververse has a bigger team. did Bungie make lemmings?

Bans last forever, not for 3 weeks. You're talking about restrictions, which Bungie also gives people even if they're not cheating.

I don't know if they ban the IP because I've never been banned. Also, [b][i][u]A BAN LASTS FOREVER.[/u][/i][/b] If someone said they can't play for 3 weeks, they received a restriction, not a ban, & restrictions can happen for a number of reasons, not just cheating. I've had multiple friends get restricted for consistently having poor connection.

Idiot of the day award goes too this guy. A forum ban is handled by a ninja who is not paid by bungie and has nothing to do with the game itself. Bungie restricts people in game. Once they ban someone, which they do, it is indeed forever.

The point is the word "ban" has many different meaning, and often ban policies are rather flexible. So unless you've been banned yourself from the game, I don't think you have the actual EXPERIENCE required to act like you're some sort of authority on the matter.
