Activision CEO implies that Destiny 2 hard reset was made based on Call of Duty winning formula

Well, if any doubts subsisted, now is evident that the premise "[i]become legend in a deep adventurer world for the course of 10 years[/i]" is completely gone.
What we will have is a "Call of Duty in Space" with a different story every 3 years or so.
So much for the ancestral and original vision of Destiny.

I would certainly sacrifice everything for new content. Perhaps that's the point of destiny 2, don't give up them everything now when there's next year.

they are already going to have seasons, which means a full reset of stats at some point during D2
