Raid Shaders WTF
I've done WOTM 21 times for the Weld Fire Shader if you look in the kiosk the only requirement is to finish WOTM 390 I've finished it multiple times. Why is this locked into RNG? it doesn't say it's a random drop so why is it? Like I -blam!-ing hate this raid all I get is class items guess what I got 4 million class items just drop a shader like damn it just changes the color of your armor.

I did not get Crux of Crota before age of triumph came out I got crux of Crota on the light 390 version

2 RepliesLol..i finely finshed a raid for the first time the other week..."i was like bring on that sweet sweet loot"........all i got was a purple primary ,( play the price is right horns...wah wah wah)...nor armor no shader, mind you it has taken three years just get raid done, ya I know my own fault. But dam..even a stupid speeder bike would have been cool.

Drop rate is fine, and they didn't give any of the other ones away, so why should they with this one? You've just not had luck with RNG. Whining on the forums isn't going to change anything. ESPECIALLY not anything in Destiny.

Only new raid shader I had drop so far was the vault one. Haven't seen any of the new sparrows either. Got one ghost for vog, shit roll.

It seems to drop more when it's the weekly featured raid. I've had 3 drop in the weekly and one not on weekly. Knuckles seem to increase drop rates maybe try that. Doesn't however seem to work for the nanophoenix!

Took me till yesterday completion to get the new king's Fall shader I now have all raid shaders was a grind

6 RepliesI got malevolence on my first kings fall completion. My two clan mates got so salty they bounced out of the fireteam and chat. The RNG drama is real.

Edited by chickengoujohn93: 7/5/2017 10:17:07 AMMost of them are crap or don't really go well with anything that's not the corresponding Raid armor. You wouldn't use Malevolence on anything other than the Kings Fall set. If you rock an entire Kings Fall set you get the Shader by default by un-equipping a Shader. If you are a self proclaimed fashionista I doubt you'd use an Exotic as most of them don't really match any Raid sets and most Exotics are so average you aren't missing out on much by not equipping them. So the non shader route is a valid option for VoG, Crota's End and Kings Fall as they all default to the new Shaders. Having said that a dark Shaders go really well on the VoG gear (Knight Errant, Infinite Link, Super Black, Blast of War etc.) Glowhoo still looks insane on the Crota's end gear even when ornamented (try the Warlock in particular!). Kings Fall sets and their inability to match with Exotics means you can unequip a Shader or continue to use the other Kings Fall shaders... Vena Cava, Bone Marrow or Ascendant Plane. Weldfire looks awful on alot of the armor sets and also looks terrible on the Warlock WoTM set. I get that people want them for the whole "collection" thing too but there's an aspect of "too late to care". Had Age of Triumph released earlier like in December/January or even earlier then I would have supported this 100%. Nanophoenix and the Age of Triumph Shaders were the only real blip in regards to Raid loot.
