Weekly Reset is finally here!

Welcome to the week of the 4th. To those in America, happy day of brexit (well, for us all it was back in 1776) I mean, independence day. Be sure to catch some game time between the fun festivities of the day! First up is Nightfall. We're going back into the catacombs of Ishtar for the Nexus. Modifiers are as follows: #1. Epic (Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.)- So expect a few more vex to be looking at teleporting faster or, if you get taken, be sure to maintain your distance because they will close up distance with short teleports fast and swarm you. #2. Specialist (Special weapons get a buff in damage, all other damage types take a damage nerf including your grenades). #3. Juggler (At least it's not exposure) #4. Ironclad (More enemies have shields). Strat for this nightfall? Take your time, eliminate things as needed, and really go to town with any special precision gun (I'd say icebreaker personally so you constantly have ammo or Black Spindle for the precise killers to have the highest damage output possible). Besides that? The vex have void shields. Bring any medium range void weapon like Telesto or raid weaponry until the boss chamber where I recommend you switch to black spindle personally. As always: Fireteams will typically get the time limit done for a sunrise challenge and the rest of us? Get the bragging rights for doing it solo. Next up is the bounties for those still looking at experience gathering or vanguard boosting: Specialized rampage (get 3 kills within 3 seconds 7 times). Aim for the Juicebox (kill 50 vex), and Oryx's Horde (kill 5o Taken) are all active and can be completely potentially with the nightfall alone. So be sure to grab those before you head out of the Tower! Weekly Heroic Strikes! Modifiers as follows: #1. Heroic (Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive.)- So basically be sure to come packing with heavy impact weapons. #2. Juggler (Make sure you have close range weapons if you are going to be close range, long range? Long range.) #3. Airborne (Players deal more damage while in the air.)- Make sure you combo this with the next one: #4. Catapult (Grenade recharge greatly increased)- Toss grenade, jump up, maybe have a hand cannon or auto rifle with airborne accuracy rolls? Strikes will be done quickly depending on how well you can aim while in the air. Good hunting guardians. Next up is the lore time through our rando missions! This time is the Iron Lords. Time to go back into the trenches of Siva infestations. Recommendations for this, just because of the fun modifiers: #1. Heroic #2. Small Arms (primary weapon damage is favored) #3. Match Game (enemies with shields have extra resistance except their damage type. Fight fire with fire, void with void, and arc with arc, guardians). Make sure to bring your favorite primary to the game and the siva raid gauntlets which increase heavy ammo drops. You will not have any issue keeping shields down with this in mind and the mission will go a lot faster. Last, but not least? Kings Fall has reared it's head at us once more. Remember that Malevolence shader will have increased chances of dropping if you have the raid armor from TTK on (shader kiosk by Eva confirms the gear is listed to help get the drop) as well as the raid sparrow and ship. Good luck with your fireteams and as always, have fun out their guardians.
