If I got food poisoning from a meal and got a similar looking meal, I would be skeptical of what's in it.

Sure, you can be skeptical. But you still won't KNOW without a shadow of a doubt until you try it.
-
Sure. But there's legitimate reason to be skeptical.
-
For some people sure.
-
Not really, I'd say for everyone. Let's use the meal analogy here. You get food poising from a meal, then a week later, you happen to go to the same restaurant and see the same meal here? Would you even order it? Would you even go to the same restaurant? Answer is obvious for most...

When I say some people I mean, the people that are skeptical of D2 or speaking of it negatively are the minority. So, my statement stands true. Skepticism is coming from the minority of players. At least the negative skepticism that is. My positive skepticism is how the majority of guardians feel.
-
There is inherent irony in creating a thread about ppl over stating their skepticism as knowledge then turning around and stating that your opinion is representative of the majority of players... Something you couldnt possibly know to be true, and if based of the responses to this thread, whole inaccurate.

"https://mmoexaminer.com/already-lot-hate-destiny-2/amp/" Destiny Reddit is full of optimism for D2. So again, I would be willing to bet money (although to be fair, you are right, I couldn't possibly know for sure, but I never said I was infallible now did I?) that the optimistic group, out weighs the negative nancy's. And then there is you. You are in the middle, but seem to be keen on wanting to prove me wrong. But opinions have nothing to do with right or wrong. I made an observation: Destiny hate is getting real Made an analogy that translates to: Cant know if the game is bad without trying. KNOW being the key word Argued on posts: About folks blindly hating something they haven't played, and trying to provide counter points as to how these negative Nancy's can begin to see things through an optimists lenses instead of the pessimists lenses. I didn't have the intention of telling people how to think. Just gave people more to think about.
-
And I would be willing to bet money that the majority of players DO remain optimistic. If you can prove me otherwise, by all means, go ahead.
-
Lol... I am not the one that made some baseless claim my opinion represents the majority. The burden of proof does not fall on me to prove you wrong XD. Thats not how it works...
-
k. So, then, you think the majority of the destiny community is pessimistic for D2? Burden of proof lies on you to prove that. Goes both ways.
-
No... I am saying exactly what I said. There is no way you could know your opinion represents the majority of players.
-
That's why I admitted that. But, I would still bet money that most people are optimistic. I have no way to prove that right now, but, then again, its my opinion. Which I am entitled to have.
-
This thread was more about people blindly hating something they haven't played.
-
And if thats what ppl are doing thats silly. But from what I see most ppl are criticizing for valid reasons based on known information and 3 years of experience with Destiny's shenanigans.
-
"valid reasons" -this is subjective tho Criticism can be delivered in a hateful way. But I see what you are saying. But again, I am not bashing criticism. I am bashing blind hate.

Edited by Lordsa Jar-Jar: 7/4/2017 2:35:19 AMNo one is blind hating it as far as I know, not like COD. Look at COD WW2, they did something fun, they did what the community wanted, and do you see that getting hate? Nope, and that's from a community who loves to hate on COD like a tradition. You think if we got some awesome info about D2 people would still hate on it? Of course not. We're hating the current info coming out, and that info represents the game. I'm willing to bet everyone wants Destiny 2 to be -blam!-ing awesome, we want the game to succeed, we want it to be fun; unique; progressive, content driven and action packed. However, what we've seen so far, tells a different story. Imo, we haven't heard anything "good" about destiny 2, just more of the same. Why don't they just tell us something good about the game, and hype up the community? Of course "good" is subjective, as some fans simply call the bad, good, but we've seen nothing objectively good, nothing everyone agrees with.

To be fair food poisoning can be caused by improper cooking, incorrectly storing food or unsanitary kitchen conditions. Not like bungie has ever done anything improperly, incorrectly or scratched their ass and then served us a hot steaming plate.
