Is it okay for a black person to be racist to whites?

So, today I saw saw a twitter post from a black nurse at my local hospital. She posted a picture of her and a few black coworkers and had "It's better when it's black" as the caption. Is this not considered racist? If a white person were to do the same thing, they would get fired. So many people are supposedly wanting to stop the double standards, but conveniently forget ones that don't offend them. What are your thoughts Offtopic? Am I right or wrong?

  • Did you actually percieve this as an attack on whites though, or is your outrage based more on your perception of a double standard in the current discourse surrounding race relations? I'm white, and my first response wouldn't be, this is an attack on me. Also, given that its a nurse, I'd probably give her the benefit of the doubt and just assume that this is meant to be a positive comment on blacks, rather than a negative one about whites.
