The better questions are:
Does it really matter?
Can volcanos assist the individual?
Can volcanos assist the masses?
Will volcanos hurt the individual?
Will volcanos hurt the masses?

-
Well, now we need to establish how.
-
I guess I should go to college or something
-
or theorize how volcanos can be used for the benefit of the human race
-
Geothermal energy? Possibly make a few islands. We could also have them all erupt and destroy the planet. That doesn't sound like much fun to clean up though.

Alright, I'll help narrow things a bit. Most active volcanos are quite tame, and those that aren't are, for the most part, underwater. Without the occurrence of an unseen outside event that would cause activity to rise, volcanos pose very little risk to most people of the world. Now, onto the positives. You mentioned geothermal energy. Is geothermal energy necessary? If so, Why is geothermal energy necessary? How does geothermal energy work? How could it be altered to work better? What obstacles stand in the way of geothermal energy and it's expansion?

I believe, totally uneducated in the matter btw, that currently geothermal energy works by turning turbines with the steam and hot air from the earth. Altered to work better? Hmm maybe a way to convert the heat to energy more efficiently? This I have no answer for. Obstacles? Technology, money and support by governments possibly?

The internet is at your fingertips friend. Your answers are out there, and if not, then you can answer them yourself.
-
Indeed, but to become a scientist or engineer in this day in age I need a degree of some sort. I'm working on it though
-
That's where your line of thinking is flawed. A piece of paper isn't going to change how much you can accomplish. Sure, you'll officially have more qualifications, and things will become a little easier, but in this day and age, scientific study can be done by anyone, almost anywhere.
-
I agree wholeheartedly, but it's difficult when you have people relying on you for food and clothes and whatnot.
-
I'm not telling you to drop your life, lock yourself in a room, and study volcanos for the next three years, but it's surprising what a little bit of determination and commitment can accomplish.
-
I suppose I just haven't found my calling yet...
-
I agree, without a purpose that drives you fully, it's hard to give such a project 100%. In that case, make your purpose to find a purpose.
-
Whats your purpose? If I may ask
-
I'm really fascinated by human behavior, psychology, and the like. Really, every scientific field is devoted to studying things that, at their core, benefit the human race. If men like Einstein and Abraham Lincoln can have such a large impact on the flow of our world, then surely other humans hold that potential. Of course, much of the way human life unfolds is dependent upon luck, but the parts that aren't... they have to manipulatable, or at the very least, able to be studied. When looking into it, however, most studies are too... qualitative. They don't go deep enough, and don't answer enough questions certainly. With certain answers, maybe the entirety of the population could be shifted in a big way. I'm rambling a bit now though, and I've not got much concrete information either.
-
You're definitely on to something. Humanity does need a shift.
-
Thank you. I believe we've both taken something valuable from this conversation.
-
Agreed, I wish you the best sir. I hope you change the world
-
Woah...ur conversation just inspired like ...me
-
Get out there and show the world who the greatest bagger is.
-
Because of you, I will
-
I wish you the best
-
Thank you, I will be on my way now, best of luck ,and may your tbags be strong
-
... Yes? One of those, probably.
