Grinding hasn't changed. Do lots of strikes and you'll level up fast. The faction packages now drop gear up to 400 so keep working on them and always remember to use your 3oC on ultras. Exotics are a good source of light as they always drop at or above your current light level. Prison of elders isn't a bad option either. Have fun and welcome back :)

Oh also as you decrypt engrams, make sure u equip anything that is higher light as it drops. This works best if u check the light of everything each time you decrypt if u are doing mass decryptions. The reason being is that your engrams will decrypt at higher and higher light all in the same decryption session if u make sure u are equipping all of those glorious blues. Blues will drop up to 385 light I believe.

Thank You! I understood most of that lol. I'm just diving into what I think is the first dlc, doing some Fist of Crota. I found materials in my vault, and think I'm going to be alright. I picked up Daily quests but am going to wait until I'm higher level as I'm only 29 now with my old lowbie gear. I'm excited to grind some new gear with my buddy. (Not often you gear excitement for a grind lol)
