Bloodborne or DS3: for PS4 players who wins
Which Souls game do you feel is the best? And WHY? Only for those that have played both.

Loved both. As much as I loved BB I can't shit talk DS3. different environments, bosses felt epic, variety in weapons and armour. Both great games, really struggle to find anything negative in either based on my tastes.

1 ReplyI played both, definitely prefer bloodborne. It makes you play aggressively, and rewards that play style, which works fine for me. It's also faster than DS, because you can't use shields (except for the wooden shield, but that thing is trash). Also max 20 blood vials so good. Although it has few secret walls, only in chalice dungeons aswell, which is kind of a bummer. Weapons are all cool too.

I don't see the love for bloodborne. Limited play styles Limited builds Limited linear progression Poor PvP I had co-op issues The setting is cool but I felt the deep builds and gameplay weren't fleshed out

I'm a souls fanboy but I'd rather bloodborne tbh. It has a fluid combat system that's also super flashy. Souls is only harder due to the somewhat choppy combat that makes it dicey.

Edited by Tlaloc___: 6/27/2017 6:00:26 AMBloodborne is much simpler (though not necessarily easier) than dark souls, in terms of play styles, enemies, NPCs and weapon upgrading. With that simplicity comes an astounding level of polish-- the weapons all have a purpose and feel good to use, character movement is far more controlled than DS, and the bosses are less exploitable than some of the DS ones. It's essentially quality over quantity. Both games have both of those attributes, but Bloodborne is exceptional.

Hard to say. I'm currently playing through the DLCs for both games. I played DS3 first and then Bloodborne but I think Bloodborne is harder. I'm probably leaning towards DS3 for being better though.

Bloodbore is far harder then dark souls 3 from the very beginning, however i find dark souls 3 to just be more fun, i prefer the setting of dark sounds, i prefer the variety of weapons and weapon types that just dont feel as present in bloodbore.

Lovecraftian doesn't do it for me. Dark Souls 3 for me. Have 10+ playthrough of that. Refuse to even finish BB once.
