Unable To Complete Before Aug 1st

Being military has a few negatives associated with it at times. In this case, I've been deployed more during the last year and a half than actually in the states. I am going to be unable to have the opportunity to complete the final trials and pre-requisites required for some of those transfer items/emblems into D2. Is there any way for me to complete them after Aug 1st, or is that date set in stone? Won't be back stateside until after the 6th. I realize it's a long shot, as I imagine you've set that date for a reason, but thought I'd ask. Appreciate the help sections comments either way. Catch you on the flip side.

  • Unfortunately the date is set in stone. The time after August 1st is needed in order to migrate all the information from D1 to D2.
We’ll be tracking the deeds associated with these rewards until August 1, 2017. After that, the data will be frozen in time so we can begin the migration process for the launch of Destiny 2.
The other users are correct that August 1st is the final date for placing the order for the Shirt order, but it is also the final date to complete these tasks for the veteran emblems : Destiny Account and Character Migration FAQ
The below Destiny accomplishments will provide players with Emblems in Destiny 2 if completed before August 1, 2017: Completion of one or more Year One Moments of Triumph Completion of all Year One Moments of Triumph Completion of one or more Year Two Moments of Triumph Completion of all Year Two Moments of Triumph Achieving Rank 2 or higher in the Age of Triumph Record Book Achieving Rank 7 or higher in the Age of Triumph Record Book Achieving a Grimoire Score of 5000 or higher
• Do you have any family or friends that you trust to finish it for you?

    • Appreciate all of the replies. Like I said, I didn't really expect a monumental shift in their plan. Just hoping to be able to complete what I needed before it was too late. I'll just take solace in the fact I'll be around in time for the beta for D2. Again, thank you for the replies.

    • You can still complete the record book after August 1st, that date is for the shirt.

      • I think that date is just for the shirt, but the record book can still be completed afterwards. Some parts of the record book are only doable when certain events are active, like IB or Trials. Those activities are happening for the last time not long after that date, so those might not be doable for you either if you're not going to be back until after the 6th. I don't know if Bungie can make an extension on any of these things, sorry. Only advice I can give is if you have someone back home who you can trust with your account, that you give them your details and have them do the book for you. Obviously there are always risks when giving someone else your details, but in this scenario it may be your only choice.

        • I would not expect them to grant an extension, especially after they just listed the last days to complete certain activities. If you are unable to finish prior to August 1, then you will miss out.
