Give me an example of a game that has rng for the drop, level, attribute/stat points, & each & every row of perks ?

You weren't that specific in your opening post, but:
I think if items were very expensive, & had to be earned, it would make obtaining the item way more enjoyable, and you'd have a sense of accomplishment along with earning said item.
All Celestial weapons from Final Fantasy X
So, imo, if items were very expensive, & there were Quests involved, and we knew what we were getting and how to get it, it would be much better than the lazy disrespectful RNG slot machine.
Also Final Fantasy X
Same goes for weapon and armor perks. Everything should have a path to be earned.
Also Final Fantasy X; you can upgrade weapons as you see fit. Perks are based on what items you use.
Instead of level 40, how's about level 500, with unlocks along the way?
99 is usually the max; I think 500 would definitely be pushing it.

Dude. Comparing final fantasy to destiny ? Fine. Still. Anyways, people play destiny so much. You re up in Titan fall, cod, gears.. why not destiny ?

I'm not comparing FFX to Destiny. I'm trying to make the comparison that all of your ideas in your initial post are things you generally find in most RPGs and not in looter shooters like Destiny. That would be awesome if they could implement these things into upcoming Destiny games but I don't see Bungie doing that.

OK I understand Thank you Are you happy with the current system ?

I'm kind of on the fence. I was, but as the weeks go by, it's getting harder. I grew up playing Final Fantasy games (starting with the NES) so I'm used to grinding for materials and items for days at a time in order to upgrade a weapon or piece of armor in order to complete a quest or something. So when Destiny came out, I had no problem with the repetition and randomness of the drops; I could grind and grind and grind, but if I try to play now, it's almost like I'm forcing myself to play.
