2001

2001 was a big year. For the world, not just the United States. I want to give some examples that were easily found through Google. Pope John Paul II becomes the first pope to enter a mosque. War on Terror put into effect after Sept 11 Netherlands becomes the first country in the world to legalize same sex marriage. Homeland Security was established If your daughter was born in 2001, don't worry, she's not of legal age to drink... or smoke! She can marry. Parental and/or Judicial consent needed in most cases. Common law marriage applies if applicable in your state. Pregnancy and keeping the child is acceptable in most cases. Dale Earnhardt dies in an Indy car race crash. Douglas Adams, author of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, passes away. Tiger Woods and Mel Gibson were still winning awards. iTunes was first announced, not yet released this date June. The El Salvador and India earthquakes. IRA bombing at BBC in London Mir Space Station is officially a historic footnote, as it was made into debri for decommission. J-Lo won an award. For singing. Jay-Z wins a Grammy. For rap. Wikipedia is born, launching itself online. The self-immolation of the man in China was staged. Plus soooo much more But hot da**, you "Bungie 4lifers" keep complaining about D2. And Bungie. And D1. And how far they've come from Halo - "which is still soooo much better than Destiny".
Halo 1 was released, 2001.
You guys need...Just stop with the past on Halo. It had good years, over a decade ago. It's done and over and actual gamers have moved on to bigger and better. Oh hey... Destiny 2?! YESSSS
