Xbox One x CAN RUN DESTINY AT 60 FPS
Why are xbox owners being punished because ps4 pro is not powerful enough. U have already crapped on xbox fans enough with the exclusive deal with sony. Once i heard u "capped" the 30 fps so the best version can be on playstation, i immediately un preordered the game. Y cant u be about the gamer? Instead of, money money money. Do the right thing and release the game on xbox one x in 60fps. Xbox fans deserve that. Sony fans get wxclusive content. To show u im impartial, i own an xbox and ps4 pro and had the game pre ordered on ps4. Changing it to 60 fps on xbox would not change my mind, all my friends play it on ps4. Plz do the right thing by the fans for once

Xbox one X can't run at 60fps, due to the cpu being almost identical to the PS Pro. This was confirmed on twitter by Mark Noseworthy. He also confirmed Sony didn't hold back the performance on XBox one X. Suck on that.

4 RepliesEven if it can, they are not going to let the Xbox one x players with 60 fps and the Xbox one players with 30 fps play against each other. They would have to separate the Xbox's because the Xbox one X players would have an advantage.

Never gonna happen. Even if it could run Destiny 2 at 60 fps (and there have been a lot of sourced posts saying it can't because of CPU constraints) the would still cap it because the original Xbox One can't. If you have two consoles playing online together they have to have the same build of the game or one would have an advantage over the other.

1 ReplyPS4 pro has nothing to do with the Xbox one copy of d2. It is beyond idiotic to think otherwise.(not calling op an idiot, just the term that defines the thought). The console was rushed out. It is in the details with the fact that any game that was due was postponed and nothing new was shown. It is up to Microsoft to release tool kits to help devs better use the hardware... something I have heard nothing about. It was "here is the power, now make it shine". Next, the x does not just magically make games 60fps over its base copy of the game coded for 30 fps... That is up for the devs to code... but coding all of that on a Xbox one copy basically is creating two games on one disc if which will not happen any time soon. I would expect a full year until developers build the tools to release variable fps on most multiplats. Next, online play... with such a huge loss in market shares this gen... alienating the core base and giving an online advantage to those that upgraded could create a negative vibe. Since the install base is so small for Xbox... they could not do a xox only server connection or there would not be many people to play with until the consoles sales have reached a high enough number. I would say it will be fall of 2018 until you see the benefits of xox used by third party studious.

5 RepliesThey have an almost identical CPU. It's a CPU issue, it has nothing to do with teraflops. XBX can handle resolution much easier due to the GPU, but frames are held back by the processor. I really wish some of you had even a slight idea of what you were talking about before you rant like idiots.

5 RepliesNormally I don't explanations, but here. Simple reason, Bungie made Halo, under contract of Microsoft. Microsoft only cared about Halo as a money maker and had no plans for Bungies future games. Bungie had wanted to do Destiny for years, MS wouldn't put the game forward. Bungie wanted to Leave, MS forced them to give the rights to Halo up. Microsoft screwed Bungie, Bungie is Screwing them back with no benefits, late exclusives etc.
