Who is Aksis???

Hello fellow guardians, my names Nova and I would like to discuss my theory on who Aksis really is, my theory is that Aksis is Aksor , Archon Priest . How do I know? One, look at similarities between their names . The only reason the fallen changed his name is because aksor became a machine god and a kell , but why the name Aksis ? My guess is because all the Kells names all end with " sis ", for example , Draksis kell of winter, Riksis, I may have spelled that wrong but you get the point . So the " Archon Prime " part, simple because his old self was archon priest, but that he got promoted as a god and kell , he is now called Archon Prime . And now let's look at the body features . So his helmet, the only fallen leader who had this type of helmet is guess what , Aksor , and has a similar body type just like aksor just a bit siva or Aksis could be copied re-skin of aksor but I dont know that's true , the spider legs , well , we all know how that got on there. So there you have it and I'm surprised I'm the only one who single handily figured this one out , not even myelin games or my name is byf made a vid about this. Well comment on what you think and tell me if missed or got something wrong about this subject. See you later at the tower.

  • Everyone knows that Aksis is Draksis before he went to medical school

    • Aksis was machine priest and took over the house of devils. He also started an excavation of golden age technology, eventually unearthing SIVA.

    • If we killed them they are not aksis dear. Aksis was Aksis before Siva, siva can't give sentience to the dead

      • He's more than likely just some fallen commander who was leading the Devils when they first found siva. But if it had to be somebody... It would be Riksis. The first archon we killed in the mission restoration. 1. The two look very similar (yeah it's bad evidence but it gets better hold on) 2. He's a devil. One of the biggest issues with the aksor theory is that aksor was of the Wolves, so the Devils wouldn't be inclined to resurrect a different house when they could redirect their own. The other problem with the aksor theory is... 3. Location. Aksor was killed right at the edge of the Ishtar sink in Venus. We killed Riksis right outside the wall, which would have allowed for easy access to his body. 4. Standing. The Devils may have been desperate to find another leader as they found siva, so it's not a farfetched idea to think that they may have just wanted a certified leader, in which they could find in an Archon Prime who had already proven his worth, and with even more disgust for guardians.

      • Aksor wore the colors of the House of Kings, was freed by the House of Winter, and his Corpse would have been needed to have been found by the House of Devils. This also means the Devils went out of their way to travel to Venus and grab a dead Archon Priest only to bring him back with Siva and make him their God when they have their own Archons still alive and well.

      • there were so many people that thought this in the beginning of RoI but it's already been disproven and we know the Aksor and Askis are two different Fallen leaders. Asksis' name has always been Aksis... It hasn't changed

      • I sincerely doubt this. Archon priests don't just change their names. Not only was Aksor a winter/priest of the House of Kings, but he also was slain by the Guardian and two others. SIVA may be able to control machines or infect organisms after hundreds of years, but it can't bring someone like Aksor back from the dead like that.

      • I think his name is Aksis because they needed a name. I was really disappointed by the lack of grimoire surrounding the Fallen raid. What's it like three sentences, where the other raids had an entire story on their grimoire card?

            • Aksis is just this guy, you know?
Seriously though... the fact we've seen "x" number of Fallen names that ended with a particular syllable is not sufficient evidence to say that ALL of them end that way. The sample size is far too small.
You're the only one because, I hate to say it so bluntly, you didn't "figure it out". Aksor was a member of the House of Kings, judging by the banners around his cell broken out by the House of Winter. The other Houses had nothing to do with SIVA. The Devils were the only ones messing around with it. The only thing Aksor shares with Aksis is his facial structure. If anything, Aksor became Nixis, Hunger of Oryx when his Strike was revamped for TTK (in which case his will was also killed). I would only tend to agree with your theory if Winter's Run was further revamped to include SIVA like some others, but this never happened. What's more intriguing is that we see him walk up to the Wall at the end of the teaser trailer, but in the Raid it appears he is confined to, and even depends on the Perfection Complex for sustainability.

              • Aksis is the leader of the Devil Splicers, supposedly an heir to Riksis and the previous Kell, Solkis.

              • Counter question, does it really matter who Aksis was? We killed him after a hour campaign and a raid. He probably will never be mentioned again, nor will he have any lasting effect on the destiny storyline. I'd probably bet money that nobody is even going to mention him in D2's main storyline, so what does it really matter. ROI was just to fill the gap left by D2 being pushed back. This is why the B-team was left with the job, and why it only included one raid, an hour long campaign 2 new strikes, a handful of of crucible maps all at the price of 30$. It was basically designed as a time sink, and that's all it should be considered. (I do not count age of triumph as part of ROI since it released 3 months after ROI)
