When I got my Elite Controller for my Xbone a few months ago I switched the right stick for the elongated one, and ever since my aim has been off. I used to be able to three-tap with a Pali pretty consistently, but now I find myself losing more and more of my 1v1s.
However, if I switch back to the regular stick, it feels even more awkward.
So what should I do? Should I stick (no pun intended) it out with the longer stick until I get used to it, or try and go back to the regular stick?

5 Repliesdecrease your stick sensitivity on the long one

Have you looked at the button mapping options on the thumbsticks? You can change sensitivity and movement behavior in different zones of the thumbstick. I also play on a higher sensitivity now with the longer stick as you can be more precise with your movements. I used to play on 6 and now I play on 8 or 9 sensitivity. Hope this helps friend.

6 RepliesHave you tried messing with your dead zones on your right stick? That could change where the stick starts to apply aiming.

7 RepliesJust get good and stop moaning.

3 RepliesYou have to get used to it and that will take time. Happens pretty much every time I switch back & forth between Keypad/Mouse & controller

4 RepliesEdited by : ^ ): 6/7/2017 6:11:41 PMI tried the extended stick as well. Wasn't my thing personally. Hell, I only use two paddles instead of all 4. If you were doing better previously, my guess is that you'll have to readjust back the way you used to play.

You changed equiptment and will take some time to get used to it. The choice is up to you as to how you want to go forward. Asking us you will get plenty of advice on both sides but, it will come down to your decision as to how you want to play and what is more comfortable for you.

6 RepliesRecord your play. You probably need to change your sensitivity.
