1 ReplyProblem with LFG is that chances of success is very unstable. There are way too many variables that can make or break teams. Putting requirements may increase the success rates, but it can open up new issues at hand.

1 Reply"I'll be back in like 20 minutes guys" -half the team five minutes into the second encounter
fcking kill me now
1 Reply"Must be 400LL+" Oh damn. I'm only 400. How do you get to 401 light level?
-
2 RepliesI have used LFG for the entire Lifespan of destiny on all 3 of my characters on a weekly basis. From raids to Nightfalls and have not had any issues.

1 ReplyThe struggle is real.

That's why I joined a clan, lol
-
3 RepliesThanks! That's why I decided to join a clan! No regrets lol!

1 ReplyMy team, that I do everything with from trials to raids, i found on lfg. Just keep wading through the shitty people and you'll find some nice ones eventually
-
3 RepliesI tried using LFG a few weeks back because my clan was not active that week. One thing I learned from the experience is. If they are by themselves in LFG there is usually a reason for that. - They play by themselves because they don't play well with others(toxic player no one likes) - They have no one to play with so they have an attitude and hate everything which ruins the vibe. - All in all it just ends up ruining the experience in a social style game. - However sometimes you may get lucky and find a gem amidst all the toxic players so keep searching for new friends because you never know what you find. Just don't let any one toxic player destroy the friendships that you built along the way. End of the day your playing to have fun. When it's not fun anymore what's the point.

I've had mostly good luck with mine I guess. There have been a few people I'd rather not join a group with, but they've been rare.

I'm using Lfg most of the time. I had many great groups and even found my current clan through lfg. There are a lot of toxic players but they are most often the ones leaving first. If you bring some patience most groups are sorting out themselves by time and most likely finish the raid.

I'll do a Vog run. But f*ck the other raids man.

LFG is where the potatoes go.

I don't hate LFG, just would like to access it through the game, and not my phone.
-
6 RepliesThe worst part is the people who came straight from crucible, don't talk, don't listen to directions, and bail the second you start talking to them. They usually last a full 2 minutes.

Edited by THE CHEESE SHOP: 6/7/2017 12:55:43 PMI attempted KF yesterday... Joined group 1, got booted (don't know why) Joined group 2, got booted because I didn't have the Golg emblem (but I was wearing the Valor emblem) Joined group 3, they checked my stats, then we raided. We finished the raid with only 3 wipes (1 at Warpreist and 2 at Oryx ((one was my fault, had to go AFK for a minute and the other was a glitch)) Anyways, those previous 2 groups did not complete it.... Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the most effective days to raid with LFG

I've been lucky to have mostly good LFG groups. I only came across one d-bag that kicked a guy for putting a weapons bubble in the wrong spot during an Atheon fight (pre-HoW)....and during a WotM run, we voted to kick this kid that was trying to raid while his family was having a good old fiesta in the next room, and we could barely communicate.
-
Its really not that bad so long as you make your own groups and don't suck
-
Thanks!
-
If only there was a way to make your own group, with your own requirements 🤔
-
There are plenty of good players in lfg. But there are just as many players who lie about their exp just to get into a raid group they think will be good enough to carry them.
-
10 RepliesI've spent the last week or so helping out randoms who've never did a raid before. I've sadly found out why. It's because they are genuinely hopeless, can't follow instructions, learn from previous mistakes and are incapable of independent thought and/or situational awareness. I've tried, God knows I have, but there comes a point when even I say enough is enough :(

If you consistently have bad experiences with lfg, have you ever thought the one constant in everyone of those teams was you? What im saying is if you always have a bad time, then its probably your fault. For me, i have plenty of good and bad experiences, ive made some friends, and met some people id never want to talk to again. But hey, guess what? Thats called life bitches, you cant get on with everyone. In summary lfg isnt all bad, if you keep having problems, maybe the issue is you.
