How can you not recommend the Judith-d roll with two damage boosting perks, with max range or damage/range boosting explosive rounds? lol

PVE wise Reactive Reload often falls off before it can be of much use (before you can really tear into an Ultra). Its only useful for one shotting regular enemies which the Judith already does. Crowd Control is amazing. That is a plus. Without a reload perk the Judith-D suffers greatly in PVE. In endgame content the slow reload will become a hinderance when dealing with Elite & fast enemies. Explosive rounds are great as it allows you to one shot Shanks. But the Judith-D can already one shot shanks due to its high impact. Choosing Explosive rounds at the cost of Range is not a good idea. Due to the 3m range nerf on Handcannons in the last patch. In PVE a range perk is extremely needed now if you want a reliable Handcannon. Not because of bloom, but because of the damage falloff. Using Warpriest as an example. A Judith-D without a range perk could 1 shot red bar adds on left or right sides. But now it takes 2 sometimes 3 shots unless you have Reinforced Barrel. Which the gun has. But factoring in reloads. You'll be hard pressed to kill adds in time should you miss or be at an inoptimal range. The Judith-D is my Main gun. I know it & The Gaheris-D fully. Edit: However for PVP. Roll 1 is great. However our PVP recommendations guy is out this week. I PVP once every lunar eclipse so I don't make PVP recommendations out of respect for PVP players. I simply am not qualified to make such recommendations.

  • My warlock has handcannon loader gloves. Even with them the reload is long enough that a yellow bar knight or Stealth Vandal will be in your face or within melee range by the time you reload (if they were at optimal distance when they charged, and you backpedal with no increased movement speed.) Yes a Gunslinger Hunter with Handcannon Loader, and stack of Chain of Woe will be fine. Basically a alternate version of Outlaw there. But when I make recommendations I cannot assume everyone is a Gunslinger Hunter or Defender Titan. Even then, that reload is situational. Chain of Woe or War Machine is required. Basically, I think (or if I own the gun I literally go test it. Normally in a Nightfall.) of a neutral situation & see how the gun would perform under stress & without buffs. Then with buffs. That way I can be sure all classes/users can benefit from me saying: "Get this gun." Additionally, He doesn't sell the Judith too often, so I don't want folks to nurn their order on a roll that they may not be able to use effectively. And ideally folks will find more use out of a Judith-D with sureshot, crowd control, feeding frenzy (outlaw works in 2nd place), & reinforced. For PVP I think its a great roll. Can potentially one shot in the right situation. But for PVE it'll get people killed, just doesn't meet my standards. But as I said in the disclaimer. All recommendations are still an opinion. If you desire a roll. Get it. I only make this to help folks who have trpuble choosing, are new, or who want something reliable.
