Stuck loading at character select screen
Just bought Destiny: The Collection for PS4, returning to the game after a long time away. Already have two previously created characters, but when I launch the game, it just sits loading at the character select screen. No models load in, just the class and level are visible while the loading icon continues to circle.
Tried clearing the cache, leaving the PS4 unplugged for the evening in hopes that would solve the problem, but no luck. Also tried plain old turning the game off and coming back later to see if that changed anything. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice, also to no changes. Any other ideas or solutions available?

I have the same problem. Was yours fixed? I reset the network as was recommended here, I also have waited ..... for hours!!! Nothing changed, just the character select screen and the rotating circle in the middle. I think there must be another problem, it can't continue like this for hours and hours can it? I just bought the game and want to play it ..... was the OP able to rectify this problem?

Reboot all your network equipment

This happened to me too. The game was stuck on loading right before the character selection screen. The way I solved it was to just wait it out. I got a bit worried as well, you just have to be patient.
