[u]Exo[/u] [spoiler]Time period: Collapse Starting location: Baiknor Cosmodrome, Baiknor, Kazakhstan The Exo unit sprints through the dimly-lit hallways of the Cosmodrome Wall. Other Exos and Humans - some security, others police and military - are running past as well. "What's going on?" The Exo asks. "The refugees started getting violent after we shut the gate. They're rioting outside, trying to get in." Another Exo says. "So we're just here to stop the bleeding?" Says a Human security guard. "Essentially, yes." The other Exo replies. Our main Exo character reaches the outside, and steps into a warzone. Human and Exo guards fire their weapons indiscriminately at human rioters armed with anything from baseball bats to crowbars to guns. Molotovs are thrown, spreading fires everywhere. The Exo equips his Khvostov, and joins in the resistance against the rioters. Over time, riot police are able to push the crowds back while the military and security continue to kill indiscriminately. "Push forward!" A military human shouts into a radio. As the Exo advances, a rioter charges at him, a machete in hand. Just as the Exo guns him down, a shotgun blast shoots out of a nearby car window, setting off the car alarm. The blast knocks the Exo to the ground, and his systems slowly fade and shut down. The Exo dies to the sound of gunshots, car alarms, screaming, and the invading Fallen. After much time passes, a faint voice stirs the Exo back to life. "Guardian.... Guardian, eyes up Guardian."[/spoiler] [u]Human[/u] [spoiler]Time period: Collapse Location: Cosmodrome Highway, outside Baiknor, Kazakhstan Our main human character is inside her car on the highway. She can see the Cosmodrome Wall out in the distance. The car radio is set to a looping emergency broadcast. Occasionally it cuts to live reports of road closures, alien invasions, etc, before cutting back to the constant "Please retreat to the nearest space shuttle launch pad for mass evacuations." Just recently, the last live report revealed that the city of London had fallen, and the Royal Family was killed, executed in their own palace. "Jesus." Her husband says. "With all this traffic, we're not gonna make it out of here." The husband points out the back-to-back vehicle traffic stretching all the way from the Cosmodrome to the city. "How's Dimitri?" The wife asks. The husband looks in the back seat to see their son passed out. "Not looking good. His fever is still high." He says, feeling Dimitri's forehead. "We should've stocked up on medicine while we were in Baiknor." "Do you really think a country like Kazakhstan has good medicine? Besides, whole world is evacuating, no one's gonna be operating any pharmacy anywhere." The husband sighs. Suddenly, there is a knock on their driver-side window. Multiple hooded men are surrounding the car, with weapons. One has a pistol aimed directly at the wife. "Open the door now!" He screams. The wife hurriedly opens the door, and is immediately grabbed, and thrown out. The husband is thrown out as well. "Wait, my son is in there! He's sick!" "I can make him feel better." One of the figures in the back seat says before shooting the kid in the head. The wife screams, while the husband charges back to the car. One of the men gets out with a fire axe and decapitates the husband. At this point, other people seeing this are panicking, getting out of their cars and running. The wife does the same, determined to get to the Cosmodrome. But suddenly, multiple Fallen ships, mostly Ketches, warp into the sky. Human anti-air guns begin firing, but the Ketches fire lasers that immediately destroy the guns. Fallen Skiffs drop off Vandals that block the wife's path. She tries to run, but a Vandal with a sword stabs her. She drops dead. After much time passes, a faint voice stirs the human back to life. "Guardian.... Guardian, eyes up Guardian."[/spoiler] [u]Awoken[/u] [spoiler]Time period: Collapse Location: Asteroid Belt Multiple humans on Cosmodrome shuttles eagerly await to escape the Solar System. But suddenly, a bright flash destroys the ships. A body is seen flying away. It is soon intercepted by a crew of Fallen headed for Earth. The human's now-purple skin amazes the Fallen. They take the human to Earth, where they land outside the Cosmodrome. They lay the body on the ground when something catches their eye. They leave the body behind as they go investigate. For some reason, they never return. After much time passes, a faint voice stirs the Awoke back to life. "Guardian.... Guardian, eyes up Guardian."[/spoiler] So there you have it. Now we can think we know how we all ended up on Earth. 😂
