I've been putting together a part list for a PC for a week now and I've talked with multiple people (who know their shit) for advice. This is what I put together. It is a bit over your budget because mine is $900-1000, but this will get the job done and do a damn fine job at it. The case doesn't make much difference so it can be changed to fit your preference. Also this build lacks an optical drive. These aren't mandatory, but you may want it to install some software that uses a disk. Thing about it though, one of those can be thrown on at any time. They are cheap, ($30-40) so it doesn't matter too much. Second note: this build does not include a keyboard or mouse. A lot of people are going to tell you to throw a Ryzen processor into it. I'm not doing that because Ryzen processors are new, and because of that, it's uncertain how long they last. They could go faulty and you'll need a new motherboard AND a processor as Ryzens use a specific motherboard slot size (AM4). This is a hefty investment. make sure you know what you're getting. Listen to multiple people about this, not just me. I learned all these big words over the past two weeks, so I'm no professional. Remember: It is your choice on what to get for your PC that you are building for yourself to use. Best of luck on building your PC
