Acceptable spawn logic, snipers without excessive aim assist, reducing aim assist so if i run around a corner i will survive, stop grenades from being meta, shoulder charge not one shotting supers etc etc
English

They already did that, it's called Destiny 2 (aka, the game that wanted to be like its big brother, Halo)
-
I hope so. Even larger maps would indirectly improve the spawns
-
reducing aim assist so if i run around a corner i will survive
Clearly you have no logic in knowing the difference between aim assist and latency. Then again you don't even know how aim assist works on snipers either.
-
Bullet magnetism, slowdown, larger hitboxes. And no, aim assist is to blame more than you think, trust me i know.
-
You're a dumbass

Elaborate

"Acceptable spawn logic, snipers without excessive aim assist, reducing aim assist so if i run around a corner i will survive, stop grenades from being meta, shoulder charge not one shotting supers etc etc" Like what? Where you inebriated when you wrote this?

Troll post or too scared to have your crutches taken away. I see. Muted, bye bye

Not very intelligent are we

Clearly not, because getting shot around a corner has almost everything to do with misaligned hit boxes to character models, and network latency. Moreover, There is no "bullet magnetism" for snipers; aim assist only affects the stickiness of the sniper reticle. Moreover, aim assist as a whole is what allows you to hit enemies on console to begin with; it's there to make up for the severe lack of precision and response time/input delay of controllers as opposed to keyboard and mouse.

Edited by Sitabeast: 5/30/2017 10:49:44 AMI know all this, but the aim assist does more than account for network delay, it fills what is known as a skill gap. As for snipers, because of no idle sway, if you know head level its an easy one shot kill. I learned the head level after my first game, its not exactly advanced knowledge. In practice and private match testing, if you shoot a sniper close to someones head, the shot still lands and you see the bullet curve. I believe rainbow 6 siege has no aim assist in multiplayer and i enjoy playing because running to cover actually saves me. What does it matter if you disagree with whats to blame, aim assist and large hitboxes both serve the same purpose; account for inaccuracy. The problem is the same either way.
I know all this, but the aim assist does more than account for network delay, it fills what is known as a skill gap
Don't feed me this bullshit. If not for aim assist you could hit almost nothing in console FPS. Don't believe me? Go into CoD or Destiny private match and watch how difficult it is to hit your allies over your enemies.
As for snipers, because of no idle sway, if you know head level its an easy one shot kill.
No one bitched about idle sway not being in Halo. Such is the current generation of self entitled gamers that want their lack of competency to be recognized. The only problem here is your chronic complaining. Heaven forbid that anything you die to in game is actually your fault right? It's always the game. Always.

Rainbow six has no aim assist and im pretty good at headshotting from a distance. I must ask, are you a troll account?
-
Console has aim assist. Try again.
-
No aim assist in multiplayer though, try again.
-
Wrong. I looked it up. Now pipe down, accept when you're beaten and stop blaming the game for your poor performance.

Even if I was wrong, my opinion still stands. This is what annoys me about the forums, if you don't start off with "In my opinion" you are instantly jumped on by Destiny's most elite.
