I own a disc version of the game, have done like 2 hard resets, there is no trial on my downloaded games and the lack of help from Bungie is frustrating me to no ****ing end. Every article, as few as there are on tje subject helped me like pouring gas on a man on fire helps him. I own the game, have since day 1, and have never played the ****ing trial. When I try to load a story or go to Venus/Mars/Dreadnaught, im given the Urchin code. I need some actual help from someone at Bungie. This is your game, and you ****s have left us in the dark, plagued with everything from Marionberries, birds and now little needle balls. The lack of help from you guys has made me question getting Destiny 2, my frustration is the culmination of 3 years of errors and lack of content. Please...PLEASE help me fix this so I can play the god damned game, the game ive owned for years. If it helps, it did this after swapping out Fallout.

11 RepliesHey i like to boom, If you're having issues being stuck in Trial mode, your first step will be to remove the Trial mode from your console if you have it. You'll want to view/manage your game and it's files. Make sure you have an active Xbox Live Gold/PlayStation Plus subscription as well. If you're using a physical copy, please make sure your disc is being read properly. After you've done that, please clear your cache and restore your licenses. Clear Cache: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539 Restore Licenses: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181 This should do the trick, but if it does not, please follow these steps. 1. Uninstall Destiny entirely, all expansions included. 2. Clear your cache again. 3. Reinstall Destiny. If this still doesn't help and you own a digital copy, there may be something wrong with your licenses and you will need to contact Microsoft/Sony.

Edited by jnikoley: 5/28/2017 6:01:00 PMIf you attempt to launch destiny without the disk installed, it will launch, but in trial mode. This could also happen if your disk or disk drive is faulty, because the system will act as if there is no disk installed. Check that your disk is not damaged or dirty. If it's dirty, clean it. If other game's disks do not read, or you receive a disc read error, you'll need to seek warranty service from Microsoft for a faulty disk drive. Another possibility, is that your XBL subscription has expired, and you need to renew it. It could also be a licensing issue, in which case you'll want to attempt to restore your licenses. If none of those are the case, delete Destiny and all installed DLC's, then reinstall Destiny and it's DLC's. Make sure you clear your console cache before reinstalling destiny.
