Because streamers cried until every other weapon was nerfed into uselessness. Now they are the only useable weapon. By the way most top streamers were using handcannons.

how about no meta make all primary weapon types useable and efficient so that the range of the weapon type dictates the outcome of the engagement

Pff go for it, make it happen. I would love it if Bungie could balance everything out, but considering the complexity and variety of weapons, and human reaction, I think it would be a near-impossible journey, especially at this state of the game. All I can say is that I hope they try to balance better and make smarter nerfs/buffs in D2. Plus, I think metas are almost unavoidable in most games. They tend to just form.

you are correct about that, my goal is to establish new meta i have been raising my KD every day and every month by using parthian shot vex mythoclast and other non meta weapons, i enjoy beating the all mighty palindrome with weapons that are not worshipped

The streamers post videos about weapons getting the info out there faster. A prime example is the hawksaw. No one used it until a couple of jackoffs made videos saying how OP it is. Then the word was out and the cries happened

Yea but you and I both know streamers bring a lot of these issues to the forefront quicker than anyone else. That's a fact buddy whether you want to accept it or not is your choice.

Well of course, they're basically a linkage institution between the player and what's going on in the game, a media source. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are the ones spearheading the action, only providing information

They absolutely spearhead the nerf movement. All the while they laugh because they have God rolled HC's for their scrimmages. They ruined this game

i believe it should work like this hand cannons are the best close range primary weapon auto rifles out range hand cannons but lose to hand cannons close range pulse rifles out range auto rifles but lose to scout rifles long range scout rifles out range pulse rifles but lose to snipers at sniper range and that is that folks make every primary weapon good and useable, and have a range based balancing system

i disagree, they ruin the community as a whole "hey donate money to me and follow me on twitch and ill carry you to the light house" why not train them to be good and then run with them as teammates, -blam!- carrying anyone or being carried

But the thing is, they haven't forced anyone to make any donations. They only put the donation option cause there are people that are willingto donate. For follows, i guess because they don't want any freeloaders? Idk. Carrying? I disapprove as well only because the carry isn't really learning anything to improve. When it comes to help and telling them what to do in situations, then that's fine. The ones that should be shamed should be the ones the do paid carries.
