Is your game stored on external hd/usb drive or the internal hd?

usb because it barely fit on the internal hard drive

That may be why. I've seen a few posts in the past saying that audio sometimes gets distorted/removed when playing the game stored on external/usb versus on the internal hd.

I'll move some other games, move Destiny into it, and see if that helps.
