Deej I am writing this in the hopes that you will see it. I have been playing video games for a very long time, and that joy from playing was taken when I was injured in 2009, in a work accident which crushed my dominant right hand. The Doctors tried to save my hand but with no luck, my hand was amputated in 2012. Thinking I would never play video games ever again. I stopped playing completely, because I thought I could not play with one hand. I tried with other games and even sold my ps3 at the time, then I saw Destiny and the Ps4 and I just HAD TO HAVE IT! My Doctor told me ( you need to toughen up my stump) use your arm. I started playing Destiny in December the year Destiny came out, and I was hooked I loved the look, feel and the way the game played. Just one problem (one hand), so I started playing and after 8 months of trying different button mapping and in game settings. I was playing never thinking about the online content. But I wanted more so I kept practicing and then one day someone invited me to play a story mission. I had a blast and wanted more, more practicing and then I was invited to play in a RAID and WOW It was very hard but, a lot of fun. After 3 years I play pretty well. To make a long story short, Your game helped me sooo much THANK-YOU and everyone at Bungie! You helped bring me back from a very dark time in my life!

Holy hell. Congrats on your recovery - things like that can be very bad mentally, and I'm glad you found something that helps.

You were... HOOKED, you say?

Congrats on your recovery! Get job. Just one thing..... DeeJ didn't have anything to do with making Destiny. He is just a puppet that says what he's told. Enough about him, though and sorry to sound sour! Congrats to you and your future accomplishments..

This bro has one hand. I have two, fully functional hands and my characters are CRAP compared to his. Kudos

hmmm..... my moneys on troll. *looks at profile and gear* yup, DEFINITELY a troll.

Did you ever look at getting a custom made controller? My brother has a condition that severely limits the use of his right hand, and we actually managed to get a controller made that was designed for people who only had use of one hand. That was back in the PS2 days though, I don't know if there are companies making stuff like that. Nice post nonetheless. It's a nice change of pace from the constant whining about FPS and Dedicated Servers.
