I'm seeing a lot of people complain about Bungie's decision to stick with P2P over DS. Personally, I don't really care, as I've never taken this game's PvP seriously. So while I can identify some issues related to P2P, they frustrate me at worst. In terms of PvE, the P2P issue is a lot less significant. But that's just me, and since I'm a PvE player primarily, I would rather the money get spent on something else. My main question is: do you actually know the difference between P2P and DS? Not just broad strokes, but from a technical standpoint, could you explain how the hardware change would impact the performance of the software? If so, do you really care about this decision?
