I'm seeing a lot of people complain about Bungie's decision to stick with P2P over DS. Personally, I don't really care, as I've never taken this game's PvP seriously. So while I can identify some issues related to P2P, they frustrate me at worst. In terms of PvE, the P2P issue is a lot less significant. But that's just me, and since I'm a PvE player primarily, I would rather the money get spent on something else. My main question is: do you actually know the difference between P2P and DS? Not just broad strokes, but from a technical standpoint, could you explain how the hardware change would impact the performance of the software? If so, do you really care about this decision? And please be honest, the pole is anonymous. Edit: The weekly update has some interesting news on this front.
