Im fine with the power slot but why use your kinetic weapon if you have an elemental weapon that is almost identical but has a burn?

Energy weapons also do more damage to enemies who have their super up in crucible from what I hear

Energy weapons do more to shielded enemies, whilst primary do more damage in pve. Apparently.
