Level 400 artifact?
Where's the best place to get a level based artifact to drop?
All my gear is 400 except my 399 artifact.
I know the forge is a good option but nobody is ever there. Tried attempting myself and failed so where else?

5 RepliesThe strike with the Ogre and Spliced Priest, the chest carries artifacts that drop at 400.

1 ReplyAs several people have already mentioned, Archon's Forge and strike chests (blue artifact at 400) are probably your best bet. If you have spare materials, try leveling up with Eris (Crota's Bane). She always rewards an artifact. However, it may only drop at your current light. You could also do a heroic raid as there is a high chance of an artifact drop, often early in the raid.

The chests at the end of every strike boss. Guaranteed 400 artifact if your light is close to 400

I've found more people there by using that method than going back to the Plaguelands. Results may vary, I guess. Artifacts drop pretty regularly at end of heroic strikes from bosses-they'll usually be blue, but at 400

I normally goto the Forge. If nobody is there jump over the big dome and enter tunnel down below. Walk to the back where the water is and Kill all ads and then re-enter the forge If nobody is there, turn around and go back down the tunnel and kill the ads.

Keep leaving the forge and wait til your HUD tells you you are in a different area (basically walk back out of the tunnel into the plague lands) and then slowly WALK back into the forge cause that's when the game finds players. Try a couple times it should work

If you have a SIVA offering for the Forge just present it yourself. It won't take long and other persons will show up. Also, try going through the corridor on the way to the Forge very slowly. That helps getting an instance with other persons in it.

You may have to wait a bit, but they drop like crazy in Iron Banner.
