From the detailed descriptions of this PC on Amazon:

Correct if I'm wrong..but This PC won't work on a monitor that (besides the HDMI port) only has a dvi port?
such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01DHTWWTM/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1495698954&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=144hz%2Bmonitor&dpPl=1&dpID=51aitVb-dXL&ref=plSrch&th=1&psc=1
All this computer stuff has been sort of stressing me out.. I feel like I have to read every little detail. I've been trying to buy a good computer and make a final decision for like the past few days..

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dHwctJ try this out man. you can get a cheaper case (i like the nzxt elite case more but its pricey) and motherboard and RAM if u like. this will allow you to top off any 1080p AAA game. and open up 1440p easily. The monitor is 1440p gsync ready at 165hz when overclocked. alot of people would agrue against the cpu and tell u to go ryzen. but im not a big fan of team red and there fairly new so we dont know how great they really are. intel in my opinion is the way to go and reliable. also look into an SSD for quicker boot up times :) all luxuries.

Edited by Exar Kun: 5/25/2017 8:08:20 AMOk another question.. This looks like a really good deal. can the $700 PC I linked above handle this monitor? As in would I need a better pc overall?

If you're going to spend that much on a monitor you should get a freesync display. https://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=ACE-XF240H&c=CJ
