Why you shouldn't pre-order Destiny 2 just yet.

So this is just a rant about why people shouldn't get Destiny 2 JUST YET. I don't know if this will matter but hopefully, it will. 1: Bungie is not showing us anything that needed improvement Some of you may know what I'm talking about but EA made a Star Wars Battlefront game that had a lot of problems. Now, they are making another game but, unlike Destiny, shows us what people though need to be fixed. Sure Destiny 2 showed us the new clan system and map on patrol, but what about content? That's the biggest thing that was wrong about Destiny in my opinion. After you had played the awesome content in Destiny and finished the game, what else was there to do? Strikes, Nightfalls, and raids every week? To me, that doesn't sound fun, doing the same thing every week. Destiny 2 is showing us all this new content, but what about after we've played the content? Will there still be things to do? That's the info that we need. 2: Asking for $60 after a cinematic trailer? Really? On the reveal trailer, where we saw NO gameplay and just the story, they asked at the end for 60-100 dollars. Who's gonna pay $100 dollars for a game we haven't even seen and for just an emblem and a sword? So, that makes me wonder. Are they in it for the money, or to make Destiny fans happy? 3: Has Bungie changed? Destiny right now is broken, boring, and is a piece of crap and Bungie is already asking for your money when their first game is still really bad and they haven't shown us how there improving on most of the things that made Destiny a bad game. We already heard there are 2 expansions and a season pass coming so, is it gonna be just like Destiny? Are we going to get to max light in the normal game, and have to wait months for the next expansions and pay 20-40 dollars? Am I gonna see every DLC expansion in one on Black Friday for freakin 60 bucks!? Has Bungie changed enough to see that not right? 4: How long till the game is broken? I have no doubt Destiny 2 is going to rock in the beginning, just like the first game. But when all the expansions are out, and Destiny 2 is done, Will the game be the same? Will it be like Destiny, where the PVP was ok at first, then at the end, it was just sidearms and Eyasluna? Till we get some assurance that wouldn't happen again, I don't think we should just think "Oh yeah Bungie's got this for sure!". I'm not saying you shouldn't be hyped, but don't let hype cloud your judgment. Don't pre-order this game just because it has, 'new stuff'. Pre-order it because it PROMISES a better game than Destiny, and that it will fix the thing that sucked in that game. EDIT: Also, remember. Activstion is also making this game as well.

  • I 'm with ya. My likes and dis likes are pretty much on the same scale. I haven't seen a thing as of yet that makes me want to pre order this game. I'm sure there will be more information put out there to pump up sales and I have plenty of patience to wait and see just what that is. I'm also sure that I will purchase the game at some point but if nothing further is revealed concerning the remedial work done to fix what was wrong with the D1 game then it might just be a pre played bin buy for me. To each their own as I see it. Good luck to ya.
