The Grimoire fans have all been pretty hidden other than the ones that make the same posts trying to find out Dredgen Yor's fûcking identity for the twentieth time.
As much as I agree about your last statement, I think grimoire and lore have to rely on a good in-game story; which Destiny 1 did not have; which is why the Grimoire seemed like fan-fiction written by a bunch of basement dwellers to me.

I read the grimoire a bunch while at work. It might be a bit easier for me because of that.
-
I understand what you mean. As long as grimoire is found in-game as well, I will have no problem... BUT, if it is found only out of game in any way, it will piss me off. Do we even know if grimoire will be a thing, but only in-game?

I know there was a read lore button during the reveal that didn't do anything. So it's possible they're just taking away the score option and are moving to it unlocking as you complete more.
-
I'd be fine with that, grimoire score was always just a redundant thing. Unlocking it is still fine and I'm sure we'll have too as than we could read the lore of everything at any time.
-
It's cool that it's being included in game but I still want to be able to read it outside of the game. If that is the system they're using I'd be good with that.
-
Many people will compile it into one area and many sites will probably be dedicated to it if there is no grimoire cards out of the game.
-
Yeah, if they don't have an app then I'll just find something else to read.
-
Sure there will be some somewhere, I understand what you mean. I don't agree with people that are assuming that lore in-game won't be as deep because it's in-game. I have read the grimoire and the deepest stuff was from the book of sorrows, which I would say isn't even close to a Rated R rating or Rated M rating.

When I say deep I mean the sheer volume of information. I've see. Very few games which include that level of detail in cut scenes. A lot of the time, extra info is cut for time.

As I said though, if a codex is involved, it won't be a problem.
