Xbox Custom Gamerpic Setting Not Accepting Picture

When I try to upload a picture to use, it says it must be 1080 x 1080. It is 1080 x 1080, though. Help? Edit: Resolved. Thanks for the advice!

I was able to make my gamerpic Riley Reid ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Now it's Helga Lovekaty because she's such a babe. I get a lot of msgs and friend request now though LOL.

Yeah it's a bit odd. You would think that so long as the apect ratio was 1:1 it would work but that doesn't seem to be the case. It has to be perfectly cropped. And still have a high resolution. I just opened up Adobe illustrator and changed the size of the artboard for my design to exactly 1080px by 1080px and it worked, though obviously not everone can do this.
