HUNTERS UGLY ARMOR
can we all agree that the hunter needs better looking armor ,probably add more light plated armor for us like the days of iron set .really tired of the uneven ugly cloth armor
edit: im talking about the days of iron set with the ornaments attached

warlocks do... nothing of theirs looks cool from the vendors. only some exotics, some trials and some of their raid gear looks cool hunters probably look the coolest

It's not the armor. Shaders on hunters are atrocious. I love the clothy look and wrapped up look but I feel shaders look terrible and never match. That is why I always get mad because I want to use a certain armor but I also go for style and like my armor to match.

1 ReplyI would. And the Hunter isn't my main character. That bird helmet (Celestial Nighthawk) has to be the ugliest artwork ever conceived.

Helm of the Jade Rabbit's nice. Mongrel Ogre's Grasps are also real good, provided you like green. FR0ST EE5s are also the nicest pair of Boots I have ever laid eyes on.

1 ReplyNo so much the armor, imo, as it is the shaders. Super Black is the only one I can equip on my Hunter. Every other shader just looks like sh!t.... including the factions'

4 RepliesHunters are fine I think. I agree the chest armor leaves a lot to be desired. But it fits the game world of being scouts/frontiersmen. Besides, the class item, the hunters cloak, is about the most single piece of highly noticeable gear in the whole game. If you ask me? It's the warlocks that get screwed. Like, yeah technically their robes are their key thing. But why even bother with an arm band - er, excuse me, a bond? When my buddy says "hey check out this new bond" I have to go into his inventory screen [i]because I can't even see it otherwise[/i]. Warlock bonds could look the same, but engulf their entire right arm with like an aura of different colored designs, which could vary depending on the bond you where. Electricity, flames, skulls, snakes, etc. [b]That[/b] would be worthy of a proper spellcaster. For the record, I do main a hunter, whatever that means to anyone.

They got weird with their armor designs. Like, they couldn't figure out how to make Titans look cooler so they threw some 747 wings on their helmets. Guess it makes sense since they can fly across the map.

The Hunter armor in the D2 reveal looks awesome imo. Reminds me of NightingGale from Skyrim. Though I'm a Titan main since BETA. Hopefully Titans get better looking armor. The ones I seen are butt ugly. Egg shaped helms, huge shoulder pads, eww.

Titans got the ugly ass days of iron helmet. Those ram horns are absolutely atrocious And they messed up with the ornamented war numen crown. They look like a retarded shark yelling out "Ima firin mah lazer!!"

So far I'm liking what I've seen of the hunter armour in destiny 2... more form fitting outfits would probably be better, they're supposed to be the most agile and the most sneaky. But having large armour pieces with pipes, cables and leaves sticking out isn't likely to help any of this...

I kinda wish Bungie would take a cue from mmorpgs and use a costuming system where you had armor slots but also appearance slots that let you use anything to craft your look.
