Best scout rifle?
I think these are the best scouts I have. Which scout rifle do you guys think is best for pvp and which is the best for pve. Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Inward Lamp for PvP. Its glorious. So many headshots in such a short amount of time. Guardians are dead before they know how to react.

Of those listed? VoC. I still prefer my Badger CCL with Crowd Control/Explosive Rounds/Reactive Reload. A real beast. Also have a Cryptic Dragon with Crowd Control/Explosive Rounds/Firefly. It's a real workhorse of a gun.

9 RepliesI've not unequaled hung jury since buying it from the vender in the beginning of y2. BUT vision of confluence was my jam and I'd trade a million vender hung jury's for a solar VOC again.

PVP - Burning Eye. PVE - Colovance's Duty,mine has crowd control, explosive rounds and third eye. If I'm honest i'd prefer a stability perk over third eye,but for me personally the combination of explosive rounds and crowd control makes it more effective for PVE than the Burning Eye.

Badger CCL. A good Badger with Braced Frame is enough to make snipers fear you.

Imo the best for PvP is high impact and high rof, my choices would be Hand of Judgement( hand-laid stock, explosive rounds, firefly ) and Mida Multi-tool( for legendary Distan Star or NL Shadow ). Og VoC was great but mainly for PvE, not that great for PvP and was more of a lazy mans weapon. I wish I would've grabbed a Hung Jury before its first vendor change, Inward Lamp has horrible base stability.

I own both The Inward Lamp and Burning Eye, I do have to say Burning Eye is better, simply because of the perks, design, and sights(highlights enemy targets). Inward Lamp is good for its archetype, but not the best.

1 ReplyPvE -- Hung Jury PvP -- Out of the ones you listed: Vision of Confluence, though if you have a Burning Eye I would recommend using that instead.

While I do really like the High ROF archetype of the The Inward Lamp it's perks make it pretty mediocre and it's pretty much overshadowed by its DIS-47 and NL Shadow counter parts. The Hung Jury is great for PvE, have two friends that use it for almost everything, even raids. For PvP I'd go with Vision of Confluence, never used it myself but seen I've some players absolutely wreck with it so it's worth trying out.
