Yeah as of right now it seems like the story of the Destiny universe is going to be dumbed down big time in Destiny 2. We won't have great stuff like the story of thorn and the last word or the book of sorrows. That's just how it seems to me. Hope I'm wrong and they can still tell those kinds of great stories with the new setup.
