That is a very simplistic way of looking at it. If you personally do not care about it...does it harm you? If a lot of people het enjoyment out of that aspect....yet you personally don't give a hoot...can you really say that it "isn't fun" and should be removed? Or...could you perhaps look at it that since it doesn't hurt you one way or the other and others seem to enjoy it...there is no harm in supporting them to be able to enjoy the game their way?

Its not that I don't give a hoot, its that I'd rather see a thinned down version of the lore in game than a load of grimoire cards (that I actually wouldn't see) outside of the game. As for removing it from D2, well they just didn't include it, it was never there to remove. Aside from that, when all is said and done, there will be plenty for the lore community to disect, discuss and expand upon. I don't want to see anyone enjoy D2 less than D1 though, although this does happen and games don't always move in the direction we would like them to.
