What defines a subclass?

Personally, I like to look at the non-super perks. I main Sunbreaker, and, yeah, hammers are great, but the thing that makes the class for me is Cauterize

2 RepliesDepends on the subclass. Gunslinger is completely defined by the super whereas something like nightstalker or voidwalker are defined by the abilities in the subclass perk tree.
