The bbq joint that unfortunately closed down by me had some of the best brisket I've had. His smoked brisket was fantastic, but he also made a good sandwich out of it. He shredded it (NOT chopped) then added a tiny bit of sauce and a little onion. I haven't really found many places that could rival it. Just an idea for you to try too.

I'd love to go to a legit smoked brisket joint... I've tried shredding it before, but I found slicing it kinda thinly and pan frying it works better. You can still add sauce and onion during that process, and you'd end up with something similar. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm going to give that a go the next time I do one.
