Heavy weapons 400 light
Just curious is there a way to increase the rate of heavy weapon drops/unlocks with 400 light? I have the same issue with specials but not as bad. I'm always getting armor pieces that I don't need and never weapons. I keep levelling my factions I do the weekly challenges and strikes.
Is there something missing that I don't know of to get more heavy legendarys at 400 light?

The SABER strike has a chance at a machine gun for infusion, the zamboni in Wrath and the bridge in Crota tend to give me the 400 heavy almost every time but there's also crucible quartermaster bounties which will drop max light heavies for you.

1 ReplyNo sadly, It's completely RNG. The most you can change on your part is getting to your highest light possible unless that's already 400.

4 RepliesLegendary Engrams decrypt up to 390 light. Legendary weapons found in caches and in Y3 raids can be up to 400 light. If you want a legendary weapon to hit 400 without doing strike caches or raids, you'll need to feed something to the 390 to make it 400. The something you feed to it needs to already be 400 (usually an exotic).
