I liked his honesty for his review on Destiny 1. He earned my respect for telling us his thoughts. I did not agree with everything he said but I did apprciate his honesty. I liked at the first of the video how he was straight up with us about that review and that Bungie did not invite him back. Joe won points for me for revealing that so I will give his review for Destiny 2 more creditability then the other guys that were invited. Bungie not inviting him back tells me they only want butt kissers there so they lost points on that. However Joe is not going to make up my mind on rather if I am going to pick up the game or not which looks like a pass for me unless I find it in a bargin bin for 20 dollars or something. IGN nailed Luke Smith pretty good with asking him about dedicated servers which he replied that there won't be none so that tells me somethings right there. If I pick this game up then its just going to be just for the story missions. I am not doing pvp, strikes, or collecting exotics again. I am done with all that after what we went through on the first game.

If nobody complains, nothing will improve. I love Destiny, and I want it to be as good as can possibly be. We complained about Destiny 1, and because of it, we... - Fixed the Cryptarch - Can buy Spinmetal, Spirit Blooms, etc. in the tower - Stopped Bungie from giving us more Dinklebot defense missions - Can wear any legendary armor we want, thanks to Etheric Light in HoW, and infusion in TTK and ROI - Made armor materials non-class specific - Made the game less stingy with rewards - Got a better story with TTK - Now have the option to skip cutscenes if we want - Fixed the infusion system so that something will go exactly to the light level of whatever you dismantled - Brought back the old strikes and improved them - Brought back POE, although it's not the same as it used to be :/ - Prevented Year 3 from making Year 2 useless - Added private matches - Brought back classic exotics, like Ghorn and Icebreaker - Stopped the Dawning from becoming like the Festival of the Cost - Made it so green engrams now turn into armor materials and weapon parts instead of filling up our postmaster - Brought back the old raids with new challenge modes [b][u]Complaining is good![/u][/b] [b]Edit:[/b] Complaining about PVE is good. Joe didn't play any of the DLCs though. He has no perspective to over half of the destiny game at this point. A lot of his original complaints with vanilla destiny where addressed with the following DLCs. In his reaction video you can really tell how little he knows about the game at this point. I freakin love his channel, but his destiny opinion and reaction is kind of pointless at this point in time given how far behind he is with the game currently.

The only reason I'm still on the fence about buying it isn't the game play at all. The game actually looks pretty good. It's the players. The whole Community is very toxic . very short attention spans. You would think you would be able to find people and make a time to do your raids every week. It doesn't last. Not really sure I want to go through all that again

There's an old (ha! [i]old[/i]) video of AJ, Ogre 2, I think Datto and a few others visiting the Bungie studios before the Destiny launch. At that closed reveal, they were shown a build that was more open world and some story missions that were more focused. Fast forward to AJ's review of Destiny and what you see is actual confusion at invisible walls and no go areas (the Moon being the one that comes to mind, where he tries to jump to a crater below where he's standing and instantly dies), as they didn't exist in the build he saw/played. But this is when Bungie said, "see that mountain, you can go there". Before the self doubt and cuts began. He reached the soft cap only and never played beyond that. He had no reason to, so while he's angry for Destiny for a reason, he's not experienced the wänkery we've been putting up with for the last two and-a-bit years, so his ire has to be taken in context to his experience. His review of a teaser trailer is, well, it's rubbish. [i]Nothing[/i] can be taken from the trailer except the graphical improvement. He even skips parts of it and tries to offer some sage insight. The guy's a nob. He's for the kids, hence his ott shouting personality and drama. If [i]you[/i] like the look of it, and are looking forward to playing Destiny 2, great, go for it. Personally, I like what I've seen, though I feel as though we'll be playing the game we [i]should[/i] have been playing to begin with and hope we won't be subject to the fückery of paid access, etc. Certainly won't be getting on release or preordering.
