To clarify pro was specified because they are not talking about scorpio at all if asked and that is being made clear saying that. Scorpio might be different, but what was said is no indicator of it either way as said. Second they were not talking about 60 at 4k it was simply that 60 was not possible. Further reinforcing this is Mark specifying that they had GPU power to do 4k instead, and it is a CPU issue.
So it is not happening, and if it does for scorpio it will be a long shot.

I agree, there is still a chance the only quote I used was"it will not run at 60.... On the Pro" and I paraphrased the rest which is still accurate but the video's there. Even though they said very little about Scorpio there is some possible clues and hints. Do you know if Destiny use's DX12?

So I corrected and clarified on that. Anyway I don't know about dx12, and yeah scorpio is doing some nice things for games. Maybe that will help it maybe it won't hard to say. Actually now that I think about it I did read about some PC specs you need, that are unreliable as I don't believe they are official. Anyway in those specs dx11 is referenced. So unless that changes in some manner I would say it's not looking good.

Edited by xI Vorpal Ix: 5/21/2017 10:22:51 PMCom on man i'm still right Pro can't run it 4K 60. hence that part was paraphrased. I referred to 4K because if Pro targeted 1080p could it run 60? Should they be targeting 4K on Pro if there's a better option DX11 alone should bring major benefits for Destiny 2 running on Scorpio

Well yeah but it's about what Luke and Mark actually said, and what you are paraphrasing them as saying. Which is not correct. They did not say it could run at 60fps at any capacity, in fact Luke said it can not run at 60fps. With Mark later saying it is a CPU issue, and that instead there's enough GPU power to run at 4k at least. That's what was said, not that it can not run at 60fps because it is 4k. Simply it can not be 60fps at all. I'd imagine if scorpio can do it they will do it. No real reason why they wouldn't it's not holding PC back or anything. I get that there's a deal with sony, but I don't imagine they would gimp their own game for that in that way. Assuming that's what you were asking there.

Edited by xI Vorpal Ix: 5/21/2017 11:01:48 PMNice, grind Sony to dust not even being able to do1080p 60 is a very poor effort for the Pro. The quote I used Luke's actual words "it will not run at 60.... On the Pro" And I generalised with Luke boasted PS4 Pro being super powerful but not 4K 60? Either way the quote and the statement is correct. Super powerful does 60 FPS in my eyes.
And I generalised with Luke boasted PS4 Pro being super powerful but not 4K 60?
Which is wrong lol. He only said 60fps is not possible, 4k was not part of it. What you changed it to implies that it could run 60 at another resolution. Which again is wrong, he didn't say that.

They clearly said it was 4K on the Pro but couldn't run at 60. Hence can't run 4K 60. End of debate. When you reply answer this.. Can Pro Destiny 2 at 4K 60?
-
Yeah and in addition to that it simply could not run at 60. There never was a debate, it's in the interview they did.
