Definitely preordering Destiny 2!
I watched the reveal stream and yeah i thought it looked good, some new ideas thrown in there.
But the one biggest thing that sold it to me was the amount of whiney PvP players and just plain nasty gamers stating they won't be buying it because of the frame rate (which is obviously more important than the whole story and content!) And no dedicated servers (i got by in D1 for 3 years without them without too much disruption).
So yes im very much looking forward to the possibility of a less toxic destiny community.

It's funny how John W blamed PS4 Pro for not being able to play D2 on consoles at 60fps, when it's really Bungie's shit proprietary engine that doesn't work, and can't run correctly on the current gen. Most tvs can run at 120fps now, so 30fps is already substandard. In a year or 2 30fps will be sub-sub standard or possibly even obsolete. Too bad Bungie can't even get D2 to meet industry standards👎🏻

2 RepliesIt won't be less toxic, it will just be less. I don't play PvP so 4k at 30fps is fine right now, but right now D2 only looks as good a Killzone Shadowfall on PS4, a 3 year old game. Also there is less in the game, less choice of skills to meake it easier to balance PvP, so right away PvP will be the focus of the game, which meant PvE players will still be at the mercy of constant nerfs reducing the speed of PvE play. The game hasn't improved, its just the same game, and the same game went from 26 million unique players to last month where only 1 mill players played PvE and 200,000 playing PvP. If the less trend continues, the microtransactions will be pushed up to try to recoop the loses. I'm waiting till the beta till I make my final decision on buying the game. If the beta shows me that its the best game ever, then I have no problems buying a collectors edition.

1 Replyhate to say this but if you dislike pvp whining then you will be in for disappointment. they are obviously trying to make this game more competitive in pvp. if you think casual pvp players complain wait till you see how salty competitive players are lol. if you look at any competitive game the community for them all are famously toxic.

1 ReplyI can only hope that your right. It would be great if the game and the attitude went back to the way it was before Bungie added try-hards of Osiris! The game was really fun back then.
