But as the days go by and I look at some of these vids, I really don't see why this wasn't just a 39.99 expansion There really isn't much of a difference Same guns Same enemy's (fallen head on a Cabal body..big change, huh) Same game modes, subclasses Same shoot and ...shoot But it's still good, I guess

Not an advancement. Only competitive shooter gamers care about frame rates that high. The rest of us would rather have a more detailed game world. Plus I find 60 FPS jarring and cartoonish.

To my eyes yes. People brains perceive things differently. You have to realize I'm not a teenager or 20-somethign that grew up on a steady diet of competitive shooter video games with high frame rates. I'm 49, and I've got nearly that many years watching all sorts of visual media in that 25-35 fps sweet spot. That is what my brain "sees" and accepts as "natural" and "smooth" animation. Since it also retains a more natural motion blur, it feels more natural to me. Animation at 60fPs on computers lacks that motion blur (which is part of the reason why shooter gamers like it)...which my brain registers as an irritating, and unnatural "clarity", and the feel is jarring and unnatural. Like trying to see after stepping out of a dark room into bright sunlight, and your eyes are too slow to adjust to the change. Its annoying and uncomfortable. At best, its a minor irritation that sometimes affects my ability to aim with precision like in Overwatch or Titanfall 2....but one that I can accommodate with time and effort. At worst the effect is so jarring and off-putting that it gives me a headache...and can even make me slightly nauseous. (Halo 5)

Isn't just you its a real issue as the game playing demographic has shifted from children to a larger mature audience, wish I could find the article I read about it. 4k tv could have similar problems with people finding it hard to watch for more than an hour or 2.

Short for Psygnosis, the European game company decades ahead of its time in the 90s who wrote dozens of ground breaking games for the Commodore Amiga. Been my online monikor since I was 16, I'm 40 now. Folks IRL started calling me Psyggie for short when I competed in international laser tag finalist tournaments. Nice try though :)
